A DRUGS baron plotted to import cannabis worth [pounds sterling]11million concealed in shipments of linen.
From his villa on the Costa del Sol, Daniel Redmond planned to smuggle the drugs from the Far East with a worldwide gang network.
But the career criminal was captured after police infiltrated his gang while wearing recording equipment.
Dublin-born Redmond, 60, drove a Jaguar and a Mercedes and sported plenty of jewellery. He wore the very best in designer clothes and took holidays in the West Indies.
