DETROIT -- As part of an ongoing effort by Major League Baseball and its business partners to make tangible, meaningful contributions to organizations that have a positive impact in the community, the CENTURY 21(R) Home Run Derby will add a new "Gold Baseball" charitable component in 2005.
Rawlings, the official supplier of baseballs to Major League Baseball, has created a specially-designed gold baseball that will be used in every round when a player is down to his final out.
