W EST ALLIS -- Travis Kvapil never expected his rookie season on the NASCAR Nextel Cup circuit to be a walk in the park.
But the 29-year-old Janesville native does expect his team to make steady progress as the second half of the season shifts into gear. Kvapil and Cup Series drivers will compete in the 18th event of the 36-race circuit Sunday at the USG Sheetrock 400 at Chicagoland Speedway in Joliet, Ill.
