WALTHAM, Mass., July 11 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Inverness Medical Innovations, Inc. announced today that its subsidiary Wampole Laboratories has signed an agreement with Roche Diagnostics to collaborate on the first fully automated diagnostic test for Ischemia Modified Albumin (IMA(R)). The current plan is for the Albumin Cobalt Binding (ACB(R)) test for detection of IMA(R) to be available on the Roche Cobas Integra(R) 700 and Cobas Integra(R) 800 chemistry analyzer systems, and Inverness is currently preparing to submit a pre-market notification with the FDA for clearance.
