Reno Contracting has begun construction on DiamondView Tower in the East Village area of Downtown San Diego near the right field fence of Petco Park. Reno recently completed all pre-construction for the project, including budgeting and estimating. The structure will span 325,000 square feet, including more than 235,000 square feet of office space, with retail and restaurant space on the ground floor.The building is slated to house the offices of CB Richard Ellis, Comerica Bank and Cox Media, with its Channel 4 TV studios.
Cost: $95 million.
