To Metro Mexico: Aeromexico announced plans to resume its nonstop, twice weekly route from San Diego to Mexico City. When flights begin July 7, Aeromexico will become one of four airlines serving Lindbergh Field with international flights.
The flights will depart on Thursdays and Sundays.
Aeromexico's direct route to Mexico City was halted in 2000. It was resumed briefly in 2001 and discontinued again.
