Ronald Winans of the world-famous gospel family the Winans, recently died of heart complications in Detroit. He was 48.

Winans was admitted to the hospital after doctors realized he was retaining an abnormal amount of fluid in his body. He died at Harper Hospital.

His brother, gospel singer BeBe Winans, said: "The family wishes to thank everyone who joined us in prayer and will continue to extend their unwavering support during our time of toss." The entire family was by his side when he died.
