Common dissents: In response to Michael Steinberg's letter blaming conservatives for the eminent domain decision by the Supreme Court, I must point out that the four dissenting judges were Scalia, Thomas, Rehnquist and O'Connor. I think we all know these four (especially Scalia and Thomas) are considered the most conservative of the court. So, before Mr. Steinberg rants on about conservatives wanting to grab people's land, he should check his facts. It was the liberals on the court (Ginsburg, Souter & Co.) that decided to go against "everything America stands for."
