FOSTER CITY, Calif. -- Equinix, Inc. (Nasdaq: EQIX), the leading provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, today announced it will roll out 10 Gigabit Ethernet capabilities on the company's Equinix Exchange service in Washington D.C., Silicon Valley, Chicago and New York by the end of 2005. The 10 Gigabit Ethernet enhancement enables networks, content companies, and content delivery networks using the service to increase their network data exchange capacity by a factor of ten.
