Article: Dunleigh-Tuxton labels acquired by Canada firm. (Abbey Neckwear Ltd.) (Brief Article)

NEW YORK (FNS) -- Dunleigh-Tuxton Corp. has closed, but its neckwear lines will be continued by a Canada-based company that has acquired rights to the name.

Three creditors of Dunleigh-Tuxton Corp., which has been in business since 1924, filed an involuntary Chapter 7 petition in bankruptcy court here Wednesday to liquidate its assets. A spokesman for Dunleigh said the company is still reviewing the action.

Meanwhile, Abbey Neckwear Ltd., said to be the largest neckwear manufacturer in Canada, has formed a new company, Dunleigh Tuxton, Inc., to continue the lines. New showrooms have been opened at 38 East 32d Street here.
