NEW YORK -- Signature Bank (Nasdaq:SBNY), a New York-based full-service commercial bank, announced today that it has named Robert J. Rothschild to the newly created position of Senior Vice President, Commercial Real Estate Lending.
In this capacity, he will oversee commercial real estate lending activities for the Bank. This appointment reflects Signature Bank's commitment to further expand its asset-generating capabilities. Rothschild, who will report directly to Michael J. Merlo, Chief Credit Officer, will work with the Senior Lenders and Banking Group Directors at each of Signature Bank's offices.
