Some like potato salad hot, drizzled with a tangy vinegar-bacon dressing.
Some like it cold, slathered in mayonnaise or Miracle Whip.
Some - well, OK, one person - likes it purple. With lavender.
Leave it to an interior decorator to gussy up the appearance of normally blah-looking potato salad.
Jenni Pagano, a Tucson, Ariz., interior decorator - is passionate about the color, so when she spotted bags of purple taters at Trader Joe's one day, she knew exactly what to do with them. She paired the potatoes with a lavender-herb mix she uses with chicken.
