BEIJING, July 12 Asia Pulse - China's sodium hydroxide industry has presented a trend of accelerating moving towards large-scaled and high-tech production, according to the National Chloro-alkali Industry Information Center.

A survey made by the information center recently on China's 178 chloro-alkali producers shows that by the end of June 2005, China's sodium hydroxide production capacity had totaled 13.886 million tons including 6.162 million tons produced with ion membrane process and the average annual production scale of each producer reached 78,000 tons.
