Tops restricts meth-making drugs.

Jul. 14--Sudafed doesn't sit on the shelves of Tops Markets anymore.

Shoppers can still see the packages of sinus medications, featuring the familiar silhouette of a head on the front, next to the other popular over-the-counter cold and sinus remedies. But it's now just a photo of the box, pasted on a card informing shoppers that the medicine is available only at the grocery store's pharmacy counter.

Erie's two Tops Markets pulled the medicine from their shelves under orders from New York-based parent company Tops Markets LLC as concerns continue to grow over the number of methamphetamine cases in the area.
