- Hindalco Industries is evaluating the possibility of bidding for a strategic stake in India foils, which has been put on the block by Vedanta Resources which holds 39 per cent in the company through Madras Aluminium Company (MALCO).
- Infosys Technologies plans a blizkrieg in China. Its mega expansion plans include increasing the headcount more than six-fold to 1,000. The company has earlier announced an investment of US $5 million in its China subsidiary, and claims to be on target on its investments.
