Suez group announced on June 20 in Paris that it had signed an exclusive agreement for the sale by July 31 of its entire stake in the Aquas Provinciales de Santa Fe water services with two local Argentinian companies, while negotiations on the Buenos Aires service continue. The agreement with Fides Group and Grupo Energia BV, in the province of Santa Fe (in the centre of Argentina) is about the 51.69% French owned stake in Aguas Provinciales. This company provides water and sewerage services to 1.8 million inhabitants of the province.
