Jul. 15--FREDERICK -- Fort Detrick is "open for business" and "needs your help," the post's Col. James Romano told business owners and others gathered Thursday at a showcase highlighting research and commercial opportunities in biomedical technologies.

Held at the FSK Holiday Inn and co-sponsored by the Maryland Technology Development Corporation (TEDCO) and the Tech Council of Maryland, the event brought out hundreds from around the region and the country who are interested in doing business with Fort Detrick.
