Jul. 17--These are the dog days of summer and you're slathering sunscreen on every bit of exposed skin to ward off damage from the sun's harmful ultraviolet rays.
Transitions Optical Inc. wants you to think just as seriously about protecting your eyes, which also can encounter all sorts of problems from prolonged exposure to the sun such as cataracts and vision loss.
