Jul. 17--Despite his daily job as a cattle auctioneer, Justin Dobson talks in a laid-back manner with a slight Southern twang that does not give a hint his job requires him to talk at a faster-than-average pace.
It's a profession Dodson longed for since he was 8 years old, watching his father buy and sell cattle.
"I just always loved the sound of a southern auctioneer," he said.
And a Southern auctioneer is what Dodson, 35, has become. He began his career selling farm tools in small towns across Oklahoma before he started selling cattle in local barns. But Dodson, who admits to making "a decent salary" stemming ...
