With an antiquated domestic infrastructure and a dispersed geography, the Asia-Pacific region drew high expectations from satellite executives around the world as they discussed business opportunities in the area recently.
"Explosive is the only way to describe what is happening in the Asia-Pacific," said regulatory expert and industry consultant Leslie A. Taylor. "The dispersed nature of the region makes it perfect for satellite communications and the high educational level, business savvy and available financing also makes the area a tremendous growth market," she continued.
