Lambs must be properly presented when they are being sold to meat producers. Bordertown- based Tatiara Meat does not want lambs to be dirty, long-woolled or super-sized. Dale Cameron, livestock manager of the company, told the Victorian saleyard conference, held in Ballarat in mid-July 2005, that the company must meet stringent requirements imposed by the Australian Quarantine & Inspection Service.
