EC Emergency Contraception is the best-kept secret in women's health.
EC is a safe and effective way to prevent pregnancy after unprotected intercourse. It is a higher dosage of the same hormone that is used in birth control pills (yet, far less than what is contained in a monthly pack of pills).
EC is safe. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration has approved EC for pregnancy prevention. While EC is no different than other prescription drugs in that it may have side effects, they are generally mild and of relatively short duration. EC is far safer than pregnancy and childbirth.
