St. Cabrini Nursing Home in Dobbs Ferry says a $55 million building expansion and renovation project for which it broke ground last week will help it provide more personalized care for its residents.
The nursing home broke ground last week on an 82,450-square-foot addition to the current nursing home on Route 9 (115 Broadway), expanding St. Cabrini's space by more than 50 percent.
All that extra space will allow St. Cabrini to more than quadruple its number of private rooms, from 32 to 134, as well as create larger double rooms, the number of which will shrink from 137 to 86.
