HUNTSVILLE, Ala. -- Avocent Corporation (NASDAQ:AVCT) today announced two senior management promotions. Douglas (Dusty) E. Pritchett was named Executive Vice President of Global Marketing and Edward (Teddy) H. Blankenship was named Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer.
