The country is calm but the political fight against attacks from Britain and the West remains. Agrarian reforms are expected to succeed, and when agriculture recovers, the economy will turn around. But the irony of it all is that when this happens and Zimbabwe begins to brighten and blossom, Mugabe's woes will not end. He will still be a target of the West. In his most recent Executive Order on Zimbabwe, President George Bush described the country as posing "a continuing unusual threat to US interests".
