The midway will open at 6 p.m. today as the East Syracuse Volunteer Fire Department holds its field days.
The annual event continues through Saturday at Loomis Field on Hartwell Avenue in the village.
In conjunction with the field days, the department conducts a raffle, its sole fundraiser of the year. Letters were sent earlier this month to district residents asking them to buy raffle tickets.
