Jul. 22--The biggest name in cheesecake will arrive in Durham this October when The Cheesecake Factory opens a 400-seat location in The Streets at Southpoint.
Word of the popular restaurant's arrival leaked out back in March but neither the company nor Southpoint would confirm it until Thursday when both announced the Oct. 10 opening with enthusiasm.
"We are so excited," said Courtney Phillips, a Southpoint spokeswoman. "They just have such a phenomenal brand, great quality and great ambiance."
