WASHINGTON -- The Department of Energy (DOE) authorized purchases from three suppliers to provide a total of 2.375 million bbl of crude oil for the Strategic Petroleum Reserve (SPR).
The Defense Fuel Supply Center (DFSC) accepted bids from Norway's state oil company, Statoil, for 1 million bbl of North Sea Oseberg at $18.43/bbl; from oil trader Morgan Stanley for 1 million bbl of North Sea Brent at $18.35/bbl; and from ...
