Nightmares about school typically fall into basic categories like forgetting to study for a test or realizing you haven't been to class all semester and now it's exam time.
But I wouldn't be surprised if Laura Jastram's college nightmares involve chicken, plate after plate of chicken dinners.
The 22-year-old Grayslake resident started cooking when she was living off-campus at the University of Illinois at Champaign- Urbana, and for economics and simplicity, chicken was often the main ingredient. For sides, she cooked up pasta and fresh vegetables.
