BEATTE TELLE, the beautiful Norwegian model at the centre of the Roman Polanski libel trial, last night denied that the grieving film director had tried to seduce her after stopping on the way to the funeral of his murdered wife, film star Sharon Tate, as the magazine Vanity Fair claimed.
In her first public comments about the night 36 years ago when Polanski is alleged to have approached her at the fashionable New York cafe Elaine's and attempted to seduce her by promising to make 'another Sharon Tate out of you', Beatte said he had not even spoken to her.
And she also revealed that he had not 'slid his hand ...
