In these modern days of technology a hand written letter, like Jane received is becoming a rare and wonderful treat. As quickly as an e-mail can be sent and received, can it capture the essence of spring and maple syrup? LM Montgomery was a prolific letter writer and faithful correspondent. She loved the coming of spring and must have enjoyed maple syrup.
