Jul. 23--A 15-acre parcel of land, once eyed as a spot for trendy discount store Target, will get new life as the corporate center for fast-growing software firm Citrix Online.
The company formerly known as ExpertCity received approval two weeks ago from Santa Barbara city officials to build offices next to the airport on the southern edge of Goleta's city limits.
Citrix Online plans to build a 160,000-square-foot headquarters, with expansive outdoor recreation areas and even a dog run, a sign that the company wants to make the South Coast its home for a long time.
