Article: State Museum to Charge Admission Fee.

HARRISBURG, Pa., July 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The State Museum of Pennsylvania will, for the first time, join many state museums across the country that charge admission fees. This change, which was approved unanimously by the members of the Pennsylvania Historical and Museum Commission in June, will provide revenue that is needed because of reduced state funding. The state legislature is represented on the commission by Representatives Lawrence Curry and Stephen Maitland and Senators Jane Earll and Jim Ferlo.
