Agrarian Policy Ministry forecasts increasing wine harvest by 13% in 2005
Kyiv, July 26 (Interfax-Ukraine) - This year wine harvest in Ukraine will exceed the previous by 13% to make about 240,000 tonnes, the Agrarian Policy Ministry of Ukraine forecasted.
According to the Ministry's data, this year the vineyards make 87,800 hectares, or 3.5% more than in 2004, including yielding areas - 70.8% (0.3% more).
