Budapest. July 26. INTERFAX-EUROPE - VIASAT3 REVENUES UP 80% IN FIRST HALF OF YEAR. Revenues of commercial television station Viasat 3, owned by Sweden's Modern Times Group, reached HUF 1.01 billion (USD 5 million) in the first half of 2005, up 80% from H1 2004, while operating losses were halved to around HUF 300 million. Business growth was due to the continuous increase of the audience rate from 4.1% to 5.3% within the population aged 18-49.
