CAN you buy a good night's rest? Here, sleep expert Professor Kevin Morgan, of Loughborough University assesses ten sleep innovations.

MAGNETIC COCOON EYE MASK Claim: Magnetic therapy has been used in Eastern cultures for thousands of years. One in three households in Japan sleeps on a magnetic mattress pad. Research says magnets aid sleep and alleviate stress.
There are 326 magnets in this mattress. The surface is made with Rubberthane, which has nodules with tips which massage you when you move.
The quilt and pillow also contain magnets.
Professor Morgan says: There's little firm evidence that magnets aid sleep.
