The family room is 85 percent filled with items such as clothes, school and office supplies, landscaping tools, kitchen utensils, etc. There's a path through the living room around piles of athletic shoes. Every piece of furniture in the dining room is piled high with boxes. Weather-resistant items such as lawn chairs, plastic toys and bicycles (shrink-wrapped) are in the garage or just outside the house.
