Health care in the North is improving despite warnings some hospitals trusts are struggling to balance their books.
Statistics published today (WED) reveal another five NHS trusts were awarded three stars in the Government's controversial health league table in the past year, taking the number in the region with top marks to more than 50%.
However, one hospital trust was warned urgent action was needed on financial management if patients were not to lose out.
