San Diego based MobilWorks (formerly CelluLand), retailer of cellular phones, car stereos and car alarms, has reported a 26% increase in sales over last year for December. According to Lew Brown, President of MobilWorks, December's increase was due largely to the increase of cellular phone purchases. "More than ever people were purchasing cellular phones for security and personal purposes," Brown said. "The cellular phone is not just a business productivity tool anymore."
