New resin, which is produced from a substance that has been around for years, is causing a stir in the American ink manufacturing industry. Based upon Gilsonite, the new resin - with the appellation Environmental Resin 125 - is ultra safe and environmentally sound.
The only reservation is that because of its basic make-up it is only really suitable for black ink. On the plus side, however, there are genuine cost savings to be had. In this |American Letter' the author looks at this new resin.
