One of the many ways to ask for trouble in the perilous world of HVAC design is to not leave room for adequate access to the equipment once it is installed. Facility engineers or other personnel can't get in to see what's going on, it's more trouble to keep up with regular maintenance, and so forth. It's no good for anyone.
