Article: Oregon to test 24-hour coverage. (combination of workers' compensation and group health insurance)

Oregon, widely acknowledged as a leader in workers' compensation reform, intends to be the first state in the nation to test a 24-hour coverage program, combining workers' comp. and group health insurance.

A $336,000 grant from the Robert Wood Foundation to the Oregon Department of Insurance and Finance to fund an 18-month pilot project will make the experiment possible, the department said.
