Aug. 1--Jeanette Silva always knew that she wanted to be a performer.
Music runs through her veins.
But she also has proven to be a businesswoman as the owner of the Copacabana nightclub off Expressway 77/83.
"I love what I do. I feel like I have been blessed," Silva said.
Silva grew up in the Lincoln Street neighborhood and attended local schools. Her family moved to Monterrey when she was about 10 years old and returned when she was 15.
She continued her studies and graduated from Hanna High School.
