Online services are expensive. Oh, they may tell you that with flat fees, basic services, and bargain-rate time periods, you can get all the benefits of an online service for pennies a day. Bunk. I can watch "Fantasia" on a black-and-white television, too, but I don't.

Excuse me while I get on my soapbox for a minute. Online prices are too darn high. In particular, CIS and GEnie charge a hefty surcharge for using 9,600-bps access.
