Dear Buttercup,
In my last postcard, I wasn't suggesting that girls couldn't be artists. I just thought they would prefer braiding hair at that age. I do agree they can do anything they set their minds to. Look at Judy's niece Gretchen. She trains elephants and performs in the circus. Elephants baffle me. Those big beasts look as if they would be ferocious, but they really are quite harmless.
No, I haven't seen cat the around, but I'll ask my brother Farley.
