Aug. 1--FINDLAY TWP. -- Pittsburgh International Airport could cut more than 100 full-time-equivalent security screener positions as part of the national reshuffling of federal Transportation Security Administration workers.
TSA spokeswoman Ann Davis said Friday that the Findlay Township airport, which once had 540 passenger and baggage screener full-time-equivalent positions now has 325. She said FTE positions include full-timers and part-timers. Approximately every two part-timers equal one FTE position.
Davis said a recent review of Pittsburgh International determined it should have 218 full-time-equivalent screener positions. But that ...
