Aug. 2--That bench-top abrasive blast cabinet you always wanted just got a little closer.
A new Harbor Freight USA tool store is now open in Augusta's Richmond Plaza on Wrightsboro Road in a part of the storefront left vacant when Service Merchandise pulled out in 2002.
The Camarillo, Calif.-based company offers more than 7,000 varieties of tools, including blast cabinets, on its Web site, through its catalogue or in retail shops.
There are about 200 stores nationwide with five in Georgia and four in South Carolina.
