Aug. 2--Cleanup efforts continued Monday at the scene where a tanker truck spilled an estimated 100 to 200 gallons of hot liquid asphalt off Hyde Park Road late last week.
The tanker was loaded with 6,000 gallons when it went off a curve early Thursday northeast of Santa Fe and rolled part way down a slope.
The state Department of Transportation, the state Environment Department, a private company and the Santa Fe National Forest were involved in the cleanup work, Forest Service spokesman Lawrence Lujan said.
