MONAGHAN boss Seamus McEnaney has launched a stout defence of Ulster football ahead of Saturday's All-Ireland football qualifier against Tyrone at Croke Park.
Armagh boss Joe Kernan and his players were savaged in a Sunday newspaper last weekend and the article in question has provoked an angry response from Ulster.
With Armagh considering their official response to the Sunday paper, McEnaney said: "Certain sections of the media have been very unfair to Armagh and Tyrone, and Ulster football in general.
