The 10th Psychological Operations Battalion at a glance:
Who they are: They're about 320 Army Reserve soldiers in four companies _ Headquarters, the 307th, the 308th and the 318th.
Where they are: They hang their helmets at Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis, except for one company _ the 308th, in Belton, Mo., near Kansas City.
What they do: In foreign lands, their job is to persuade the locals to do what U.S. commanders want them to do. The soldiers use such tools as radio, television, fliers, newspapers, etc. The 10th Battalion specializes in getting the word out by loudspeakers.
